Cash Works

According to the National Association of Realtors cash transactions accounted for 30% of all home sales in May 2011.  This is up from 25% in May of 2010 and 12% in 2009. 

Locally our cash transactions were even higher.  Last month 61% of homes were purchased with cash.  In the first quarter of 2011 a staggering 73% of sales were cash transactions.
