Florida Hurricane Preparedness

Although Sebring is located about an hour and a half from each coast, we’re not completely safe from hurricanes. The first big storm of the season is headed towards the east coast of Florida. Are you ready for Hurricane Irene? Make a family plan, have plenty of food, wine, and water stored up. You will also want to have a list of your medications handy- valium, viagra, whatever it may be. Get some plywood for your windows and most importantly, decide where you’re going to store your boat. The National Weather Service says so!
