Condo Inventory/Market Report

In the Heartland MLS, which covers Sebring, Avon Park, Lake Placid, and Lorida, there are 1528 residential properties for sale. Of these, 105 are condo/townhomes. In June, seven of these properties sold. All of the condo/townhomes were two bedrooms and prices ranged from $20K to $120K. All of the units that sold were on the market for at least 60 days and two of those units were on the market for over 181 days*.
What does this mean for buyer/sellers?
1. Properties under $100K are in demand.
2. Cash buyers are out there.
3. If your condo is for sale, even though the competition is stiff, do not get discouraged! Even after 180 days on the market, properties are selling.
